Title: Cloud Architect
Location: 100% Remote

Description:
Join a cutting-edge team driving digital transformation through innovative cloud solutions. As a Cloud Architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures. Leveraging modern tools and best practices, you will lead cloud initiatives, enabling seamless migration and optimization of applications and services in cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
Architect and implement robust cloud solutions focused on scalability, security, and efficiency.
Lead cloud transformation projects, ensuring smooth migrations and minimizing risks.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to enhance reproducibility and control.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate processes using cloud-native tools.
Optimize cloud network infrastructure for performance and security.
Implement and maintain cloud security strategies, including access management and encryption.
Conduct cost optimization analyses and implement strategies for efficient cloud resource usage.
Establish monitoring, reporting, and alerting frameworks to ensure operational excellence.
Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain detailed documentation and architectural diagrams for clarity and consistency.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure management and monitoring best practices.
Extensive experience in hybrid environments across cloud and on-prem solutions.
5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions in cloud environments.
Expertise in cloud provisioning and management tools like CloudFormation or similar.
Relevant certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
Familiarity with key cloud services related to computing, networking, and security.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and related tools, including CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Desired Skills:
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure resource availability.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex cloud-related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Proficiency in cost management and optimization strategies for cloud environments.
Experience with cloud backup and recovery solutions.
Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams using tools like Lucidchart.

Full-Time

Compensation:
Pay range: $91k-$130k/year
