Primary Job Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Identify and apply Azure operational best practices and architectural design patterns to ensure effective and secure solutions.
- Conduct systems planning studies, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
- Estimate costs and implement cost control mechanisms for Azure cloud-based resources.
- Migrate complex, multi-tier applications to Azure.
- Manage the flow of data to and from Azure, ensuring efficient data management.
- Select appropriate Azure services based on data, compute, database, and security requirements.
- Integrate Azure services with on-premises networks, as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure updates and improvements to ensure optimal solutions.
- Provide architectural expertise and assistance to other IT teams, including software developers and systems engineers.
- Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies on Azure cloud.
- Implement Azure security and compliance measures to meet organizational requirements.
Minimum Qualifications - 6-10+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Architect.
- Extensive experience with Azure, and additional experience with AWS and Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
- Proficient in cloud ecosystems, APIs, and frameworks.
- Experience with coding languages such as Python, Java, or .NET.
- Strong technical skills in cloud adoption and cloud architecture projects.
- Ability to design and deploy enterprise-scale Azure solutions.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and application architecture.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automation and configuration management.
