The Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for providing services, workloads and use-cases for our Oracle customers. Strong technology exposure is a must, blended with strong pre-sales/sales acumen. You will be a part of highly skilled cloud engineers that blend proven experience and deep subject matter expertise to solve the hardest customer issues in the context of strategic sales engagements. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales strategy and account teams at some of the most strategic Oracle customers to define the account strategy and multi-cloud journey, build target state architectures and technical proof plan and achieve a technical and commercial win Influence product and region strategy: Be a customer advocate to the product group. Develop and maintain critical information regarding customer interactions including action items, cadence calls, architectural diagrams, and service requirements to influence product direction, scheduling, and region strategies Drive Oracle and partnership offering success: Leverage your sales expertise to close deals by demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud solutions, their benefits and the sales process, while balancing interim product and organization goals What will you bring to the table? Deep understanding on Oracle Cloud and Exadata offerings, including ability to develop compelling business value justification using cloud solutions around a known customer requirement Ability to collaborate with resources to lead customers from awareness through acceptance. Leading/participation in discovery sessions and producing technical deliverables to move customers through the adoption lifecycle. Collaborating with all internal and external partners to validate proposals and execution plans including implementation and multi-cloud partners. Education A Computer Science degree is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
