Cloud and Virtualization Administrator with Security Clearance

GCyber is seeking a Cloud and Virtualization Administrator, to support a high profile DISA customer in their mission to improve collaboration and information sharing between defense and intelligence organizations. As the Cloud and Virtualization Administrator you will serve as a critical member of the Network Operations Center Team ensuring the reliability and performance of the SWS services and virtualization environment. As the Cloud and Virtualization Administrator, you will: Install, configure, and integrate servers and hardware, including VMware vSphere, Horizon View, and hybrid infrastructures. Provide system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting support for virtual machine environments and VDI errors. Build and maintain highly available server clusters and virtualization environments to ensure capacity, availability, and performance. Support AWS workloads, including security controls, compliance management, and operations in a hybrid infrastructure. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve service incidents and problems for critical systems and applications. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a CI poly. Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience, additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree. DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (i.e., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP) 3+ years of system administration and/or engineering experience in virtualized environments Hands on experience managing VMware virtualization infrastructures Familiarity with AWS Virtual Private Clouds, Elastic Block Storage, and AWS Cloud Formation preferred
