The Water Services Department is seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud and Integration Support Coordinator (Water Services Technical Support Coordinator) to lead the administration, integration, and support of cloud-based platforms critical to utility operations. This role is responsible for optimizing the performance, security, and user experience of cloud software systems that support asset management, customer service, and field service management. IT professionals in the Water Services Department work closely with professionals in other technological environments, and in other City departments, offering opportunities for continued professional growth. Technology training is also available to allow employees to enhance their technical skills.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Understands cloud architecture, scalability, support structure and cloud deployment models.
  • Excellent project coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to:
    • Coordinate with different IT groups, operations, customer service, and vendors to support software lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching, testing, and code implementation.
    • Develop best practices for a diverse team, document procedures and serve as a liaison between software vendors and internal stakeholders.
    • Prioritize user experience, understand client needs, and leverage SaaS-specific features.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolutions.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and other system interfaces and can work with third-party platforms to integrate services.
SALARY

Pay Range and Hiring Range: $66,185.60 - $144,476.80 annually. Candidates may be hired up to $144,476.80 depending upon qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Five years of responsible experience in water systems civil technology, cartography, utility records, geographical information systems, and computer aided drafting and design systems; including two years supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
  • Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum qualifications listed above, plus experience with/in the following:
  • Working in business intelligence, data analytics and creating dashboards from several enterprise data sources.
  • Overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and performance of cloud-based software to meet business needs.
  • Ensuring data integrity, security compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Supporting utility or public sector systems preferred.
