JOB SUMMARY
As a Cloud Advisory Architect, you will be at the forefront of guiding cloud transformation journeys. You will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and consulting experience, you will design and deliver innovative cloud solutions that address unique business challenges and drive tangible value.
We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:
Cloud Strategy Consulting: collaborating to assess current IT landscape, understanding business goals and developing tailored cloud strategies that align with objectives.
Architectural Design and Planning: designing scalable and resilient cloud architectures that leverage best practices and coincide with industry standards, ensuring security, compliance and performance.
Cloud Migration and Implementation: lead the planning and execution of cloud migration projects, providing guidance on workload assessment, dependency mapping and migration strategies to minimize risk and disruption.
Cloud Optimization and Cost Management: identifying opportunities to optimize cloud resources and improving cost efficiency through rightsizing, usage optimization and implementing cost management best practices.
Technical Leadership and Guidance: providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on cloud architecture and technology trends.
Solution Development and Delivery: collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop proof of concepts, prototypes, and production-ready solutions that demonstrate the value of cloud technologies to our clients.
Continuous Learning and Innovation: staying abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and proactively sharing knowledge and insights with internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
Masters or Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.
Proven progressive leadership experience in establishing broad technical knowledge across applications development, cloud services, data center infrastructure service and operation, data management, analytics, integrations and security.
Experience leading Azure services and architecture teams in the context of large-scale deployments.
Hands-on involvement with relevant tools for supporting Azure cloud platforms and DevOps processes (CI/CD, IaC, APM).
Knowledgeable in agnostic cloud deployment technologies such as containerization (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
Knowledgeable in monitoring and observability tools such as (Splunk, New Relic, Azure Monitor & Alerting etc ) to establish and implement.
Experience in demonstrating success in ITSM enablement leveraging standard best practices, such as ITIL, as well as emerging methods like DevOps and Platform Engineering.
Strong consulting skills such as targeted communications, engagement management, stakeholder management and business development.
Certification(s) in Azure and/or GCP/AWS.
