Job Description:
Propy Title is seeking a licensed closing Georgia attorney with experience in real estate closings to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in managing the legal aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, ensuring all closings are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance with Georgia law.

Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Oversight: Oversee and manage the legal elements of Florida real estate closings from contract to post-closing.
- Document Preparation & Review: Draft, review, and approve legal documents including closing statements, settlement statements, deeds, affidavits, and title documents.
- Title Review: Examine title commitments and work with underwriters to clear title issues, ensuring insurability.
- Client Communication: Serve as the legal point of contact for clients, agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Escrow & Funds Management: Oversee escrow instructions and disbursement of funds in accordance with contract terms and Florida law.
- Closing Coordination: Conduct or participate in closings (in person or remotely), ensuring that all documents are properly executed and funds are disbursed accurately.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Florida real estate and escrow laws, regulations, and ethical obligations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any legal or transactional issues that arise during the closing process.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia
- 3+ years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on closings and title
- Strong knowledge of Georgia real estate laws, title insurance practices, and closing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and digital transaction platforms
- Strong client-service orientation with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
