The Clinician II collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, safe patient care within a clinic setting. Responsibilities include coordinating wellness and chronic illness activities for the entire patient population and acting as a clinical leader using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Requires RN licensure, BLS certification, with BSN preferred, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience. Supervises daily clinical support staff, ensures staff orientation and competency, and provides performance feedback. Must have effective communication skills, ability to educate patients, and physical capability for extended walking, lifting, and working under stress. Ensures adherence to safety standards, including bloodborne pathogen protocols.
