Clinical Trial Financial Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate costs associated with clinical trial activities and negotiate with sponsors.
- Understand clinical trial protocols.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively across inter-departmental teams.
- Maintain meticulous management of data, ensuring financial documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with industry regulations and organizational policies.
- Perform other duties as required to support the launch of clinical trials.
Work Schedule:
- The work schedule is contingent upon departmental needs.
- The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

- Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new financial systems used in clinical trial management.
- Familiarity with medical and accounting terminology.
- Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet software programs, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat software.
- Must be proficient in using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, and other complex Excel functions.
- Ability to work effectively within a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with implementing clinical trials.
- Experience with research administration.
- Proven ability to work successfully with a diverse range of internal and external project staff and research participants.
- Must be dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of precisely following detailed protocols.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor characterized by a high degree of courtesy, tact, and sensitivity.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a larger multi-disciplinary research team.
- Experience working with a clinical trial management system application and related processes.
- Experience or a strong understanding of accounting principles to evaluate financial data, including cost structures, trial budgets, and payment terms.
