POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Supervisor oversees shift leadership and operations in a clinical department, ensuring nursing care safety and quality. They manage daily nursing services, support patient and family care, and supervise nursing staff while providing patient care as needed. The role emphasizes professionalism and excellence in clinical service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current RN license in New Mexico; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. SKILLS: Knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care. EXPERIENCE: 3 years of relevant experience. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: Reports to Clinical Manager, PACU/PSU/Surgical Admit.
ENVIRONMENT: Works irregular hours with exposure to infectious diseases and requires physical stamina for patient care tasks.
