POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Supervisor oversees shift leadership and operations in a clinical department, ensuring nursing care safety and quality. Collaborating with the Nursing Department Director/Manager, they manage daily nursing services and support patient and family care through interdisciplinary teamwork. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, providing patient care, and coaching employees while exemplifying professionalism and excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current RN license in New Mexico, BLS, ACLS, PALS/NRP, TNCC, and CPI as applicable.
- SKILLS: Knowledge and skills for age-appropriate care.
- EXPERIENCE: 3 years relevant experience preferred.
- SUPERVISION: Reports to Nursing Leadership.
- ENVIRONMENT: Irregular hours, exposure to infectious diseases.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to handle emergencies and perform physical tasks.
