POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Supervisor oversees shift leadership and operations in a clinical department, ensuring nursing care safety and quality. They manage daily nursing services, support patient and family care, and supervise nursing staff while providing patient care as needed. The role emphasizes professionalism and excellence in clinical service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current RN license in New Mexico, BLS, ACLS, PALS/NRP, and TNCC as applicable. SKILLS: Knowledge and skills for age-appropriate care. EXPERIENCE: 3 years relevant experience preferred. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: Reports to Nursing Leadership.
ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to infectious diseases, irregular hours, and emergency situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to handle emergencies, prolonged standing, and patient transfers.
