DescriptionAs a
Clinical Site Director at Psychiatric Associates, you will provide clinical leadership to our team of high performing clinicians, while also maintaining an outpatient therapy case load. You'll need to be knowledgeable of and competent in treatment of a variety of emotional disorders; have a passion for providing a high level of care to all outpatient patients; have strong organizational skills; and have the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and teamwork.
We are a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems.
Primary duties include:- Chairs all clinical staff meetings/case consultation & creates and/or approves meeting minutes for all programs.
- Ensures that services provided by the clinic are reflective of the needs of the community.
- Provides ongoing feedback regarding professional performance to other staff and completes annual performance reviews for all clinical staff. Coordinates with Human Resources, Quality Assurance and other management as necessary to address and monitor performance issues of staff.
- Oversees 245i compliance and maintain accompanying documentation.
- Play a pivotal role in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of clinical staff.
- Work in close collaboration with administrative site leads or managers to manage clinic and staff.
- Act as default supervisor when needed for billing, credentialing, clinical supervision, clinical program oversight
- Complete a mental health diagnostic assessment on new patients
- Provide high quality ongoing therapy with patients
- Maintain complete and organized outpatient electronic health records
- Ensure appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals
Requirements- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional as per Iowa regulations as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW), or LMHC.
- Ability to supervise, manage, mentor and lead clinical staff.
- 3+ years of supervisory and/or administrative experience strongly preferred; Board Approved Supervisor status is preferred
