The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales of the company's Capnography portfolio, with a strong focus on procedural sedation and hospital-wide conversions.
Responsibilities
- Follow the company's established sales process to convert competitive accounts to its Capnography technology.
- Use to track and update all sales opportunities weekly.
- Partner with Clinical Specialists to conduct Capnography Assessments as part of the sales strategy.
- Deliver compelling presentations highlighting the company's value proposition.
- Secure new and renewal agreements for the company's Capnography (Procedural Sedation) solutions.
- Drive capital equipment sales related to Capnography within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams-including Corporate Accounts, IDN partners, and Clinical Specialists-for team-based selling and to share market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Plan and lead user seminars to highlight the clinical and operational value of the company's Capnography solutions.
- Maintain a detailed CRM database, including account profiles, sales forecasts, and plans for engaging key clinical champions (Vocal, Credible Clinical Champions - VCCCs).
- Coordinate clinical evaluations to support the adoption of Capnography solutions and identify strong clinical advocates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of successful hospital-based sales experience, specifically selling innovative technology solutions to clinicians.
- Documented success in selling medical devices, or emerging technology to multiple call points (ex. Anesthesia, Respiratory, ICU, OR, Biomedical, C-Suite, etc.) and multiple decision makers within the hospital setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional ability to lead group presentations.
- Travel and overnight stays are required, as well as a valid driver's license.
