Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) - Neuro/Oncology/Stroke Trials

Location: Ventura, CA (Fully Onsite)

Start Date: ASAP / End of February 2025

Pay Range:

  • Non-RN CRC: $30-40/hr
  • RN CRC: $38-50/hr

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join a fast-paced and impactful research team conducting clinical trials in the areas of Neuroscience, Stroke, and Oncology. This fully onsite role plays a vital part in coordinating day-to-day trial operations and ensuring regulatory compliance across all phases of clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, screen, and enroll research participants in accordance with study protocols
  • Manage and coordinate all trial visits, procedures, data collection, and follow-ups
  • Conduct informed consent discussions and document per regulatory standards
  • Process and ship lab specimens, including blood draws and ECGs (training provided)
  • Maintain detailed research records, including regulatory files and source documentation
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry using EDC and CTMS platforms
  • Serve as the main point of contact between trial sponsors, participants, and internal stakeholders
  • Support monitoring visits and audits by resolving data queries and preparing reports
  • Assist in investigational product accountability and coordination with pharmacy

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating clinical trials, preferably in Neuro, Stroke, or Oncology
  • Served as the primary coordinator for at least 5 drug or device trials
  • 3+ years of experience working with patients in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of GCP, FDA, and IRB guidelines
  • Proficiency with EDC systems; CTMS experience preferred
  • Certification through SOCRA or ACRP (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in a health/science-related field OR equivalent experience
  • Phlebotomy certification a plus
