Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Compliance:
- Supervise and conduct when necessary health screenings (UDS, vaccines, Quantiferon tests, MMR titer blood draws).
- Ensure team compliance with health codes and state regulatory laws.
- Supervise medical assistants, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper training and credentialing of team members.
- Maintain company compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Liaison and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the company and the medical director, updating on current and future initiatives and issues.
- Serve as a liaison between the home health care operations team and the corporate team.
- Ensure proper communication of all company policies to all staff members timely and effectively.
- Operations and Quality Control:
- Oversee the collection and management of lab specimens, ensuring they are processed and sent to labs.
- Deliver specimens onsite if the lab is unable to pick them up timely.
- Process and manage test results.
- Ensure quality care and safety for patients and team members.
- Maintain schedules and coverage for team member absences to ensure continuity of operations.
- Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure quality and quantity control.
- Administrative Duties:
- Onboard new team members.
- Review, verify, and approve staff timecards for payroll accuracy and completeness.
- Perform supervisory duties including hiring recommendations, corrective action, performance appraisals, counseling, work scheduling, training, and budgeting in compliance with federal, state, city, EEOC, and Affirmative Action guidelines.
- Troubleshoot problems in clinical field activities and implement possible solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge of health codes and state regulatory laws.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Current unrestricted RN license in NY State.
- Vehicle is required.
