Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Compliance:
  2. Supervise and conduct when necessary health screenings (UDS, vaccines, Quantiferon tests, MMR titer blood draws).
  3. Ensure team compliance with health codes and state regulatory laws.
  4. Supervise medical assistants, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Ensure proper training and credentialing of team members.
  6. Maintain company compliance with OSHA regulations.
  7. Liaison and Communication:
  8. Act as a liaison between the company and the medical director, updating on current and future initiatives and issues.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the home health care operations team and the corporate team.
  10. Ensure proper communication of all company policies to all staff members timely and effectively.
  11. Operations and Quality Control:
  12. Oversee the collection and management of lab specimens, ensuring they are processed and sent to labs.
  13. Deliver specimens onsite if the lab is unable to pick them up timely.
  14. Process and manage test results.
  15. Ensure quality care and safety for patients and team members.
  16. Maintain schedules and coverage for team member absences to ensure continuity of operations.
  17. Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure quality and quantity control.
  18. Administrative Duties:
  19. Onboard new team members.
  20. Review, verify, and approve staff timecards for payroll accuracy and completeness.
  21. Perform supervisory duties including hiring recommendations, corrective action, performance appraisals, counseling, work scheduling, training, and budgeting in compliance with federal, state, city, EEOC, and Affirmative Action guidelines.
  22. Troubleshoot problems in clinical field activities and implement possible solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in supervising healthcare professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of health codes and state regulatory laws.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel to various sites as required.
  • Current unrestricted RN license in NY State.
  • Vehicle is required.

Location: Various sites in New York (Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Albany)
