Learn more about us: Clinical Nurse II Job Location: Brier Creek GI- 10207 Cerny St, Raleigh, NC 27617 Job Summary: We are seeking a CLINICAL NURSE II in our Brier Creek GI Clinic located in Raleigh, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to GI Clinic patients, Anorectal Manometry Patients and Infusion patients. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, provide and document professional nursing care in an ambulatory/anorectal manometry setting, utilizing Maestro and Medtronic ARM software, in accordance with physician orders and policies and procedures, under the supervision of the clinical team lead or HCA. Collect and analyze patient data during anorectal manometry procedures. Delegate tasks to other staff, including medical assistants. Assist other staff members as needed in the delivery of care. Maintain environment of care, including equipment, instruments, chemicals, containers/boxes, supply and linen carts, etc. Participate in own professional development by maintaining competencies (OESO Training, LMS Training, specific ARM Training), Identifies learning needs and seeks appropriate assistance or educational offerings. Identifies clinical, operational and safety related performance improvement opportunities and participates in clinical or entity level performance improvement activities Attends practice/staff meetings and in-services. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein delegated by nurse manager, provider or HCA. Job Eligibility Requirements: Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the BSN program within seven years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification. Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. At the clinical lead or HCA's discretion, employees with 6 months of experience who are exceptional performers may be eligible for this level. Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required. Job Schedule: The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
