The Clinical Nurse Coordinator of Medical Surgical will be responsible for the twenty-four hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of the Medical Surgical department. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator of Medical Surgical will report directly to the Nursing Manager of Acute Care Medical Surgical and will be supported by Charge Nurses and 100 skillful staff nurses.
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator of Medical Surgical will manage the team in order to provide quality individualized patient care to patients ranging from neonate to geriatric on the age continuum and support of the Medical Center's Mission, Strategic Plan, and Goals and Objectives.
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator of Medical Surgical will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets, serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy.
