Job Title: HLA Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Night Shift)

Comp: $45-70/hr
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HLA Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. This is a night shift position where you will play a key role in conducting high-complexity testing in human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing, essential for organ transplantation, and other related testing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in laboratory techniques, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: -
Perform HLA typing using techniques such as PCR, SSO, and SSP.

Process and analyze blood and tissue samples to identify antigens related to transplant compatibility.

Ensure accuracy and reliability in testing by following laboratory protocols and procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment or testing procedures.

Interpret and report test results in a clear and accurate manner.

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.

Maintain proper documentation and adhere to quality control standards.

Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care and treatment.
Qualifications: -
Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or related field.

Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent (ASCP or equivalent certification preferred).

HLA laboratory experience is strongly preferred.

Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes.

Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and compliance regulations.

Must be comfortable working night shifts.
