Position Overview

• Pay: $100 $105/hour
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Shifts: 5 days/week with alternating weekends
• Contract: 3 6 months
• Location: San Jose, CA
• Department: Trauma Center

Your Responsibilities (Summary)

• Perform and interpret lab tests in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instruments
• Review and adjust quality control data
• Assist with specimen collection, reagent prep, and documentation
• Support teammates with troubleshooting
• Follow all lab protocols and emergency procedures
• May serve as a Disaster Service Worker

What You Bring
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution

Licensing:

• Valid CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
• OR CA Bioanalyst, Chemist, Microbiologist, or Limited CLS license

Experience (Minimum 3 5 years):

• Blood Bank with Massive Transfusion Protocols (MTP)
• Hematology/Coagulation Lab experience (Sysmex XN, Stago Max Compac)
• Chemistry Lab experience (Siemens Atellica)
• Proficient with: Epic Beaker, WellSky, Grifols Erytra
