Facilitates psychotherapy and educational groups and individual therapy sessions as required. Develops and implements all clinical programming for their assigned program(s). Works as part of a larger operational team of supervisors and directors overseeing clinical programming design, implementation, and delivery that is consistent with model fidelity. Implements and ensures consistent use of the electronic medical record, pursuant to agency policy and procedures. Attends required trainings and meetings and relays information to clinical/case management team. Ensures effectiveness and efficiency through the establishment of process and outcome measures. Analyzes clinical measurement data monthly and initiates performance improvement activities accordingly. Conducts chart reviews and ensures chart compliance. Advances and encourages innovative ideas for improving the overall effectiveness of the clinical program. Communicates policies and procedures to assigned personnel. Ensures a competent and effective staff by directing their selection, development, training, supervision and on-going evaluation. Ensures professional, positive, accurate and effective coordination with internal/external departments/agencies. Facilitates and disseminates findings from audits Creates and implements corrective action plans (CAP) when required. Performs related work as required. Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Education and/or Experience: Master's Degree and licensed as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Florida required. Certification as an Addictions Professional (CAP) preferred. Must be a qualified supervisor of registered interns/mental health professionals. Five years of progressively responsible experience in the behavioral health field including a minimum of three years supervisory experience in program development and supervision preferred. Professionally trained and experienced in the counseling of adults diagnosed with mental health, addiction, and co-occurring issues. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities: Knowledgeable and demonstrates competence in various aspects of program clinical management and supervision of addictions treatment programs, including prior experience in the development of research based behavioral treatment facilities. Ability to work closely with national referral entities including health professions programs, universities, individual referral sources, insurance companies and EAP's. Knowledgeable and understanding of rules, regulations, safety procedures, state, federal and local laws, and legislative requirements pertaining to treatment programs and program compliance. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with other employees, program staff, clients, outside organizations, and others. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, medical and clinical professionals, and the general public. Ability to prepare clear and concise written reports. Necessary Special Requirements: Possession of a valid Florida driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal automobile insurance if required to drive an SMA vehicle and/or use a personal vehicle for SMA business. Complete State of Florida mandatory background screening prior to start of employment. Complete SMA required training during the first six (6) months of employment and updated if required. Physical: Mobility and ability to bend and reach during an 8-12 hour day. Able to lift minimum 10 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate, intervene, treat, and record client health care needs. Fine motor skills for legible and accurate charting, daily correspondence and presentation, either manually or orally. Work endurance ability to work 8-12 hour shifts with a meal break, as possible. Routine 8-12 hour shifts. Hours and days off may vary. Extra hours may be required. Work assignment locations may vary.
