Job Title: Clinical Director - Veterinary Surgeon (Partnership Opportunity)

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take on a Clinical Director role within a brand-new, independent practice in Berkshire. This is a unique chance to shape and lead a modern, fully refurbished veterinary practice from the ground up, with the added potential for partnership opportunities and build the team around you.

  • Leadership & Autonomy: Be at the forefront of decision-making, helping to establish protocols, select equipment, and build a high-performing team. You will be involved with the recruitment and involvement of the plans and equipment in the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the clinical team, ensuring high standards of veterinary care and client service.
  • Oversee the implementation of protocols, best practices, and medical procedures.
  • Mentor and support the veterinary team, fostering continuous professional development.
  • Play a key role in business development, working alongside practice management to drive growth and success.
  • Contribute to the selection of medical equipment and facilities during the setup phase.
  • Manage and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional care and communication.

About You:

  • An experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a strong clinical background. Previous leadership or management experience preferred (Senior Vet, Clinical Lead, or Clinical Director roles advantageous).
  • Passionate about high-quality patient care and team development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in practice growth and business operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
