A well-established hospital located just outside of Albany, Georgia is seeking a full-time, permanent Clinical Dietitian to join their team.
The Clinical Dietitian Job Description:

- Provides nutritional education to ESRD patients. Tactfully communicates and educates patients and visitors in a positive, informative manner. Communicates appropriately with patients of various ages. Conducts in-service training in areas of diet therapy and patient care as needed. Completes nutritional assessment on all required patients and places it in medical record in a timely manner. Demonstrates the ability to assess and interpret data relative to patient s age. Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of patients served. Assesses nutritional status of chronic dialysis patients throughout all stages of the life cycles. Screens patients for nutritional problems, as appropriate for patient s age, and disease process.
The Clinical Dietitian Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition from an accredited university if graduated before 2024. If graduated after 2024, Master s Degree required from an accredited university
- Current Licensure in Georgia as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.
- A minimum of one to two years experience in clinical/oncology dietetics in a health care facility. (preferred)
- Working knowledge of CBORD and overall diet office functions (preferred)
- Current knowledge of nutrition therapy.
