Clinical Coordinator, Respiratory

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Enhances the value of care provided through the management of Quality and Process Improvement (QPI) techniques. Demonstrates expert clinical competency of the respiratory care process and serves as an advisor and resource person for staff, driving best practice. Serves as liaison between Respiratory Care Services, other departments, physicians, schools, etc. in educational and clinical development. Facilitates learning and cooperation among staff members, and provides direct patient care as needed.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred, and minimum five years in clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Has and maintains Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Has and maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia. Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required.
