What You'll Do

Work with Admissions and clinicians to ensure that intakes are completed for prospective families/clients
Conduct initial assessments using standardized tools such as Vineland, ABAS-2, MBA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, ABLLS, PEAK, Socially Savvy, MAS, QABF, FAST, etc.
Develop evidence-based goals that reflect the needs of the client as well as the results of assessments
Ensure the appropriate transition of cases after the initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and the receiving team
Provide a maximum of 3 initial assessments per week under the direction of the Director of Assessments

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
BCBA certification
3+ years of experience in the field supervising others
Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
Licensed in Pennsylvania

Expertise Needed

Training staff on conducting initial skills and adaptive assessments
Completing initial assessments within insurance-based services
Working with insurance-funded services
Maintaining flexibility with hours and the ability to work some weekends and nights as needed
Conducting standardized assessments (skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and risk assessment) for a variety of ages and skillsets
Using electronic data collection tools (e.g., Catalyst)
Providing services in home and clinical environments
Conducting peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours
Recommending hours/prescription
