Position Overview:

Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is partnered with a well-known healthcare organization to fill a Clinical Administrative Coordinator position for a 3-month contract.

This role plays a vital part in supporting key administrative functions to ensure smooth coordination between patients, providers, and clinical teams. Core responsibilities include member triage, managing admission and discharge details, processing referrals and prior authorizations, and handling a high volume of inbound and outbound communications. The successful candidate will work closely with both hospital partners and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete database/queue entries (target: 250 tasks/day)
  • Process correspondence (target: 180 tasks/day)
  • Handle inbound calls (50-60 per day) and outbound calls (minimum 50 per day)
  • Intake and notification processing
  • Triage of member services and requests
  • Manage referral and prior authorization workflows
  • Transfer members to clinical staff when needed
  • Provide information about network services to members/providers
Ideal Candidate Background:
  • 2+ years of experience in a physician's office, clinic, or hospital setting
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant is a plus
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while staying highly organized
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years administrative support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow organizational protocols

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
