Job Summary The Registered Dietitian is responsible for managing and coordinating the nutritional care of patients in both the Skilled Nursing Facility and Acute Care settings. This role includes conducting nutritional assessments, developing individualized care plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The Dietitian will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery, promote optimal health outcomes, and ensure safe and effective dietary practices across both facilities.
Requirements

Active and current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the state of California

Recent experience managing food services in an acute care hospital setting

Strong understanding of clinical nutrition standards, regulatory guidelines, and dietary compliance in both acute and skilled nursing facilities

Proficient in nutritional assessment, documentation, and care planning

Excellent communication skills in English - both verbal and written

Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and dietary management systems
