Who You Are:
- A licensed PTA who's passionate about pediatrics

Responsibilities
- Provide trauma informed care with a focus on mental health using a holistic approach.
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including exercises and therapeutic modalities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings, including outpatient clinics and skilled nursing facilities.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure effective therapy practices.
- Other duties as assigned by ancillary manager.
Qualifications
- Strong patient care skills
- In-depth knowledge of physiology and anatomy
- Proficiency in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
- Experience in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities
- Familiarity with discharge planning and care plans
