We are seeking Pediatric Licensed Physical Therapists to join our growing team
Whole Kids Co. is a multi-disciplinary Counseling and Autism Center with two locations serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Applicants will possess:
- A passion for working with youth of all ages with a variety of needs
- Experience with children in a therapy setting a plus
- Knowledge of evaluation tools
- Execute therapeutic programs
- Ability to motivate clients during sessions
- Excellent communication skills with children, multidisciplinary team and families
- Maintains timely report writing and submission
- Ability to serve as a resource to the clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Current CO Licensure or ability to obtain licensure
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to build rapport with patients

- Focus30 sessions monthly with management
- Company Paid Trainings: becoming a Trauma-informed clinician, PCM certified, CPR, First-Aid/BLS
- A multidisciplinary work/team environment
- Layered team support and mentorship through bi-weekly staff meetings, collaboration across other disciplines, check-ins with Ancillary Manager and Clinical Director
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Providing skilled physical therapy treatment plans by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of clients
- Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing clients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs
- Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries
- Prompt documentation of session
- Supervises and supports Physical Therapy Assistants in direct client care Signs off on all PTA notes within 24 hours of appointment
- Ability to co-treat across disciplines and enjoy working closely with other disciplines
- Building rapport with team members, clients and families
- Perform other duties as assigned
Other Requirements:
- Maintain current CPR
- Maintain current Colorado PT Licensure
- Remain TBRI informed through company training
- Maintain current Professional Crisis Management certification
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively
- Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation
