We are seeking Pediatric Licensed Physical Therapists to join our growing team


Whole Kids Co. is a multi-disciplinary Counseling and Autism Center with two locations serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Applicants will possess:

  • A passion for working with youth of all ages with a variety of needs
  • Experience with children in a therapy setting a plus
  • Knowledge of evaluation tools
  • Execute therapeutic programs
  • Ability to motivate clients during sessions
  • Excellent communication skills with children, multidisciplinary team and families
  • Maintains timely report writing and submission
  • Ability to serve as a resource to the clinical staff

Qualifications:

  • Current CO Licensure or ability to obtain licensure
  • Ability to handle physical workload

  • Company Paid Trainings: becoming a Trauma-informed clinician, PCM certified, CPR, First-Aid/BLS

  • Layered team support and mentorship through bi-weekly staff meetings, collaboration across other disciplines, check-ins with Ancillary Manager and Clinical Director

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Providing skilled physical therapy treatment plans by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of clients
  • Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing clients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs
  • Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries
  • Prompt documentation of session
  • Supervises and supports Physical Therapy Assistants in direct client care Signs off on all PTA notes within 24 hours of appointment
  • Ability to co-treat across disciplines and enjoy working closely with other disciplines
  • Building rapport with team members, clients and families
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Other Requirements:

  • Maintain current CPR
  • Maintain current Colorado PT Licensure
  • Remain TBRI informed through company training
  • Maintain current Professional Crisis Management certification
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively
  • Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation
  • Ability to communicate
  • Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance
