Position: Clinic Director - Physical Therapist

Start Date: 2-4 weeks

Compensation:

  • Salary: $100,000-$110,000 (experience-dependent)
  • Full-time position with benefits after a successful 90-day period

Benefits:

  • $800 CEU Credit Annually (increasing to $1000 after the first year)

Provide concierge level care to all patients with communication touch points outside of appointments to create the best possible healing experience.

Primary Roles:

Leadership & Management

  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and excellence in patient care delivery.
  • Manage and mentor clinical and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Implement and monitor clinic policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.

Clinical Oversight

  • Maintain an active patient caseload while modeling best practices in evaluation, treatment, documentation, and patient communication.
  • Ensure clinical staff adheres to evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and professional development goals.

Staff Development

  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing education for physical therapists, aides, and front office staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and create individualized growth plans for team members.

Business Operations & Growth

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including patient satisfaction, visit utilization, and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with ownership or executive leadership on strategic initiatives to drive clinic growth and profitability.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, physician outreach, and community engagement to increase referrals and brand presence.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Medicare standards.
  • Oversee clinical documentation audits and participate in regulatory reporting as needed.

Financial Oversight

  • Assist with budgeting, expense management, and revenue cycle processes to optimize clinic financial health.
  • Approve scheduling and productivity targets to balance quality care with operational efficiency.

Patient Experience

  • Monitor patient satisfaction and respond to feedback to continually enhance the patient journey.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for patient concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Concierge Experience Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with patients outside of clinic hours regarding treatment/exercise progression, goals, and modifications
  • Be able to market oneself and company to potential referral sources (coaches, trainers, gyms)
  • Create meaningful relationships with patients and motivate toward wellness goals
  • Build new referral relationships with patients and connections

Required Qualifications:

  • MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A SPORTS CLINIC SETTING
  • Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current California PT license
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification

Potential Schedule:

  • 40-hour work week with 30-minute lunches
  • Monthly 1.5-hour team meeting on Tuesdays
  • Occasional workshop attendance with flexible hours during the week

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays

License/Certification:

  • Physical Therapy License
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
