Summary: This job is for a practical nurse in a 26-bed telemetry unit specializing in Hospitalist medicine, primarily Stroke and Neurology patients. Responsibilities include assisting RNs in patient care, participating in the nursing process for patients of all ages, administering medication, and providing patient advocacy and support. Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, Virginia LPN license, AHA BLS-HCP certification, and completion of de-escalation training in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health within four months of hire.
