Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia
As an Ob Hospitalist Group Clinic and On-Call OB/GYN, you will care for the assigned obstetrics and gynecology patients who visit women's clinics within or connected to our partner hospitals and may also oversee a Certified-Nurse Midwife and/or Nurse Practitioner.
This role includes on-call duty on weeknights and weekends. You will not be required to stay on hospital premises when on call but will need to be within a 30-minute drive of the facility. Lodging will be provided, or OBHG will cover lodging costs.

The Family Birth Center at Johnston Memorial offers 16 private rooms, including 11 LDRP suites and 5 for gynecology and C-section patients, with 24/7 pediatric hospitalists on site. The center provides comprehensive maternity care, emphasizing one-on-one support, education, and a family-centered approach, including pre-admission visits and hands-on classes like infant CPR and breastfeeding. Additionally, the Strong Starts program connects families with vital resources and services to support children from birth through age five. The new program at Johnston Memorial Hospital will allow OBHG to impact an additional 430 annual deliveries.
