Autotrader, a Cox Automotive brand, is seeking a talented
Client Success & Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This position focuses on fostering client relationships and driving revenue growth within the automotive sector.
In this role, you will be charged with
growing and retaining subscription revenue for Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book products while managing a portfolio of franchise and large independent automotive dealers. You will craft innovative solutions to help our clients achieve their goals, provide valuable insights on their business challenges, and collaborate across Cox Auto sales teams to enhance referral quality. Building and nurturing strong relationships with automotive dealers is at the core of this position.
Key Responsibilities: - Consistently meet or exceed revenue, retention, and referral targets.
- Manage and forecast sales pipeline effectively.
- Utilize various sales enablement tools and analytics for maximum efficiency.
- Surpass dealer expectations by providing exceptional service.
- Deepen relationships with multiple decision-makers at client dealerships to optimize revenue and minimize cancellations.
- Deliver data-driven assessments to help dealers address their operational challenges.
- Conduct monthly ROI business reviews to reinforce our value proposition with data and content.
- Leverage market insights to assist dealers in informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell within your account portfolio.
- Support the implementation and onboarding of solutions for dealers.
- Troubleshoot and route customer issues to the proper contacts.

Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 6 years' experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Frequent travel within the assigned sales territory is required.
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Preferred: - Experience in the automotive industry or advertising media.
- Field-based sales experience.
- Thorough knowledge of digital advertising and social media platforms.
- Proficiency with technology, CRMs, and analytical tools.

Location: This role requires candidates who are able to work in or around Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Dubuque, or Davenport, Iowa.
Compensation includes a base salary of $84,200 to $126,200 with an annual incentive target of $62,400. Benefits include flexible vacation policies, paid holidays, wellness time, and additional leave for various personal circumstances.
