Position Summary

The role of the Client Service Manager is to assist team members in ensuring every aspect of client accounts are accurately and properly maintained. This role will provide on-going service and support to clients and Advisors by providing service that exceeds expectations. This includes determining what actions need to be completed to perform maintenance on existing client accounts on an accurate and timely basis. Coordination of projects, training, and on-going development of improved office procedures is also required. The Client Service Manager must be able to manage multiple tasks at a time while maintaining professional poise and courtesy to clients and internal stakeholders.


Essential Job Functions

  • Service client needs and requirements as determined through client &/or Wealth Advisor interaction
  • Assist Wealth Advisor with communications with the client base including phone calls, emails and meetings
  • Build and maintain a positive and professional relationship with the PWM client base with the main focus on service and operations
  • Professionally provides primary point of incoming client contact via phone or email
  • Assist in developing annual client review materials
  • Maintain accurate and complete client information in the database
  • Interact with the firm's Operations team on all case requirements and follow up
  • Develop and maintain written systems of all activities
  • Participate in daily morning advisor meetings and training
  • Attend all training and information sharing meetings scheduled for the Operations team
  • Attend firm client events when appropriate
  • Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Financial Advisor office tools (i.e. Orion, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field preferred or commensurate career experience
  • Experience working in a professional office environment preferred
  • 3 years of experience in the financial industry preferred
