Job description:
We are a specialized insurance agency seeking a full-time Client Services and Claim Support Specialist for our private school and college tuition insurance business. The ideal candidate will be a team-player, well organized, professional, motivated, able to multi-task effectively and have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, calculating and typing.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a contact for claims processing for our client schools
Handle written correspondence, e-mail and phone calls from schools, parents and colleagues
Maintain accurate and complete customer records in an orderly, up-to-date manner
Seeks advice from Accounts Managers with any account issues or questions
Maintain working knowledge of all company/policy change procedures
Assists or fills-in for Account Managers as necessary
What You Need:
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in customer service or administrative role, or college degree equivalent
Team player with a positive attitude and strong and consistent work ethic
Deliver exceptional value and service with a customer-first mindset for long-term business success
Ability to remain focused when handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills allowing you to foster positive customer relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Efficient and accurate typing, data entry and calculation (10 key) skills necessary
