Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing client accounts and provide support to internal service team.
  • Support the implementation and renewal process of employee benefit programs by gathering needed information, submitting to carriers, and preparing proposals to clients.
  • Assist sales and service teams with preparation/creation of materials for presentations.
  • With guidance from sales and service teams, communicate daily with insurance companies, vendors and internal teams to ensure proper administration of accounts (including contract concerns, underwriting issues, claim situations, etc.). Follows up on outstanding issues or client requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Some administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry at a brokerage or provider organization .
  • Licensing: Active state specific Life & Health Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Technical Competencies: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of insurance principles, practices, and coverage, enabling to effectively consult with clients and address their strategic needs, including risk transfer and financial considerations. Actively engage in defined workflows and processes, utilizing agency systems to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional client experiences. Additionally, excel in client management, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks, manage project status, and deliver tailored, impactful solutions.
