Sooner Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are a full service, multi-doctor hospital that proudly serves small animals in Norman, Oklahoma (located just a few miles from OU's campus.)
Individuals with prior veterinary experience and excellent communication skills are highly encouraged to apply. This is a part-time Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30am to 6pm. No weekends.
Requirements: - Previous veterinary experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
- Takes pride in being punctual, dependable, and reliable
- Self-starters who take initiative and pay close attention to detail
- Compassionate team players who have excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Experience with Pulse is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Client service and communication
- Greeting and checking out clients and patients
- Managing phone lines
- Booking appointments
- Over the counter sales
- Financial transactions
- General front desk duties
- General hospital cleaning
