full-time Client Service Representative or Receptionist to join our team in Fremont, CA. We're offering an hourly rate of
$20 - 25/hr based on experience, along with training/career growth potential and comprehensive benefits.
The schedule for this position is a training schedule of Monday - Friday from 10:30 am - 7:00 pm for the duration of 6 - 8 weeks. Upon the completion of training, the regular schedule will be Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.
We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players committed to excellent client service and interested in the field. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and ready to kickstart their veterinary careers.
You'd be a great fit if you:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service veterinary or medical setting.
- Are comfortable around cats and dogs
- Strive to provide each client with compassion and care
- Are team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Have at least a High school diploma or equivalent.
Your primary responsibilities:
- General front desk duties: greeting clients, booking appointments, etc.
- Rooming patients and taking a brief history
- Client communication
- Managing phone lines
- Cleaning and disinfecting the hospital
- Carrying out tasks as requested by the veterinarian
- Medical records management
