We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team full-time.Position Summary Arnold Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire a Client Service Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position. Compensation for this role is a $16-$20/hour based on experience with opportunities for overtime. Responsibilities and duties: - Customer service functions, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
- Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
- And other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Veterinary Field is required
- Experience with Cornerstone a PLUS
- Ability to work at least 1 weekend day and nights
- Excellent Communication and Multi-tasking skills are needed for our busy hospital
- Displays the highest degree of professionalism at all times with customers and co-workers
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills
- Must be organized and detail-oriented to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all transactions
- Capable of staying calm and exercising sound judgement in challenging situations
- Present a neat, well-groomed appearance
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for sustained periods
- Ability to use hand and arms to handle and position animals, materials, equipment
