The Client Service Manager is responsible for reviewing and following up with Sponsors on delinquent payments immediately after the grace period assisting borrowers to get their accounts back on track and sign up for ACH if applicable. Additionally, the role will include following up on extensions out for signature and retrieving the executed copies so they can be processed timely.

Principal Duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for early-stage default, following up on payments and setting up ACH for clients when loans go delinquent past the grace period.
  • Regularly providing reports when new delinquency trends start happening within the portfolio or at the sponsor level.
  • Be accountable for reporting and escalating any unresolved delinquencies that don't see resolution in the immediate future.
  • Following up on extensions out for signature to ensure they are received back timely and processed prior to the current maturity date.
  • Assure extensions are processed with FCI at least 48 hours prior to the next ACH debit date.
  • Exhibit effective communication and listening skills, focused on conveying new ideas to performance managers and understanding potential obstacles to implementation.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing business processes and reporting.
  • Work with relationship managers to obtain updated insurance renewals if not provided by current carrier.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 2-4 years directly related experience.
  • Knowledge of bank operations
  • Experience in private money or hard money preferred
  • Knowledge in commercial lending and early-stage default.
  • Highly Proficient/Advanced in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database application
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task, respond well to pressure and deadlines, and work well individually and in a collaborative environment.
  • Fast learner - able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior work experience in customer service facing roles.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks concurrently and self-prioritize workload to meet deadlines as an individual.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000/annual
