Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is currently seeking a Client Service Associate to join our Branch office team in Port Huron, Michigan.

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include servicing clients, assist in operations, managing database, general organizational support, as well as client interaction. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset in order to anticipate business needs and will assume ad hoc responsibility for project-oriented tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support, which includes but not limited to creation, maintenance and editing of documents, spreadsheets, files, and presentations.
  • Assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations to ensure operational excellence
  • Client Interaction and service
  • Support client onboarding process
  • Maintain and process documents
  • Assist with audit preparations
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with home office personnel
  • Interact on routine/sensitive matters
  • Interact and support branch staff, Branch Control Officers and all levels of management
  • Ensure that all documents are sent to home office in a timely manner
  • Cross training within other positions in the Operations area
  • Willing and able to take on additional tasks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years financial services/fixed income experience preferred
  • Willing to obtain FINRA Registrations: SIE, Series 7/63 or 66 (Will be sponsored)
  • Possess a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to navigate computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees and clients in a highly professional and friendly manner
