The opportunity we've created puts all of that on the backburner. Here's a chance to understand the inner workings of a financial planning office, how to effectively communicate with clients, and understand the importance of documentation, analysis, planning techniques and more. This full-time position puts you in an enviable position. You'll apply planning, operations, trading and service skills as you support our team. As your experience, efficiency and ability to work autonomously grows, more responsibilities will be added. You'll be provided state of the art technology and training, guidance from our seasoned team of professionals, a friendly work environment and you will be:

Supporting our Director of Financial Planning - you'll assist in preparing for client's reviews, analyzing client data for entry into our planning software, and work to solve problems that result in client questions.

Supporting our Operations Manager - Opening new accounts, transferring assets, and assisting with periodic payouts are just a few of the many items that you'll learn. We pride ourselves on our 0% NIGO Rate (not in good order). Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately are essential.

Supporting our Investment Team - You'll learn how to place trades, set up dollar cost averaging programs, calculate cost basis, produce investment proposals and build style boxes.

Supporting our Team - The cornerstone to our office is our contact management system. We use Wealthbox. You'll become fluent in task management, workflows, adding notes and taking direction from others. You'll also become an integral part of our personal client experience initiative. Your voice on the phone, the mannerisms in the office, and your interaction with clients both virtually and in-person will mesh with what our industry refers to as "state of the art client service."

Overtime, you'll find your strengths. With a clear understanding of how a financial planning firm works, you'll be primed to pursues a multitude of career paths. Perhaps it's to become a Certified Financial Planner. Maybe you'll want to be a financial planning, investment and/or operations specialist. The choice is yours.

Primary role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

nswer phones, schedule appointments, and prepare materials for client meetings
Keep client management systems up-to-date with client information
ssist with information and documentation requirements for new accounts, transfers, and more
ccurately input data in financial planning software
Manage account activities that are operational in nature - new accounts, cash management, transfers, and account maintenance (e.g., periodic distributions, debits)
ssume ownership of inquiries and requests; communicate with internal departments to ensure clients' expectations for timely service delivery are met
Educate clients on account services, capabilities, and new technology - eSignature, paperless statements, Account View (client portal), etc.

Organized with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective oral and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly and simply
Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners

Self-motivated, driven and takes initiative
Prior customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM applications
