The Client Service Assistant will be responsible for managing client service requests, helping to prepare for client meetings, handling new business processing, and other general administrative duties as assigned. The candidate should demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail and must possess strong computer skills.
Duties
- Meet client service needs in the role of a support staff to the financial professional
- Track prospects and new business activities
- Assist with preparing for client appointments, including putting together client paperwork, applications, and marketing materials
- Process applications for life insurance, long-term care insurance, investment products, etc.
- Track open cases to completion and follow up as needed with underwriting department and/or clients
- Liaison with service center on all service/account issues and follow up on a timely basis to resolve
- Maintain CRM software/database, keeping it current for sorting, searching, reporting, fee tracking, and new business opportunities
- Client correspondence (i.e., birthday cards, holiday cards, client mass e-mails, quarterly/semi-annual/annual mailings)
- Update, maintain, and schedule client and other office meetings
- Manage agent(s) calendar
- Maintain website and social media
- Client event planning, coordination and follow up
Skills & Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and willing to learn new computer systems
- Understanding of key financial products are desired, but not required
- Dedicated commitment to providing superior customer service with a focus on quality
- Must work well individually and as team player
- Superior attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to formulate creative ideas and to analyze, evaluate, and follow through on assigned tasks
- Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Be ethical, have a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance
Experience
- Associates degree at a minimum
- Three to five years' work experience
- Investment and/or Life Insurance background (preferred)
- Life/Health Insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 (or willingness to obtain)
Hours
- Full time
- Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
