Job Title: Client Relationship Manager
Location: Hybrid (4 days in White Plains, NY office / 1 day remote)
Position Overview:
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be the primary contact and advocate for a portfolio of approximately 35 client accounts. You will partner with Brokers, Consultants, Administrators, Fund Trustees, and Plan Professionals to oversee and expand existing relationships, drive strategic account growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across internal teams and with senior client stakeholders, with a strong focus on client satisfaction, operational excellence, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships and overall administration for pension and health plans, including full fund and claims administration.
- Serve as a trusted resource to clients, resolving issues with accuracy and timeliness.
- Attend and participate in Trustee meetings and member meetings, eventually leading these engagements.
- Review, organize, and present meeting materials; maintain direct client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and drive revenue through strategic service enhancement.
- Collaborate across internal departments such as Sales, Implementation, Claims, Billing, and Customer Service to support client objectives.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage fund reporting and payments.
- Support and mentor Service Representatives; serve as backup support across internal operations.
- Coordinate benefit funding, administrative payments, COBRA administration, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other internal systems.
- Lead implementation efforts for new clients in collaboration with sales and onboarding teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in third-party health and pension administration.
- In-depth knowledge of premium billing, eligibility systems, claims processing, and EDI transactions.
- Proven track record in account management and relationship development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills and professional presence.
- High attention to detail, excellent organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Salesforce and claims/benefits platforms preferred.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite in White Plains, NY; 1 day remote
- Some travel required for client/member meetings (2-3 times/year)
