Your Responsibilities In this role, you will focus on consultative selling and nurturing relationships with your valued clients. You will gain in-depth knowledge of their business operations and provide indispensable solutions for their success. Your key tasks will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Proactively engaging with clients to evaluate their technological needs and objectives.
- Keeping abreast of clients' business dynamics, including future plans and competitive insights.
- Formulating strategies to upsell and cross-sell an extensive range of Cox offerings, including cloud solutions, managed services, data connectivity, and more.
- Applying consultative and value-based selling techniques to educate and influence clients.
- Contacting clients before contract expiration to address issues, renew contracts, and propose additional services.
- Managing and updating pipeline, win/loss, and forecast data as needed.
Who You Are Your client interactions are solution-driven, and you maximize every opportunity to connect. Here's what we are looking for:
- A minimum of 8 years in a related field, or a BS/BA with 4 years, or a MS/MA with 2 years in a related area.
- Successful business-to-business sales experience.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using Windows-based systems, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications - 2 years of experience in telecommunications, technology, or cloud sales.
- Background in managed services, specifically focused on XaaS.
- Experience in field sales, developing pipelines, and generating new leads.
