Job Summary:
Dalamar Homes is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our homeowners and internal teams. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for post-sale customer inquiries, warranty service requests, and general support throughout the homebuilding process. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners with warranty claims, service requests, or general questions
- Coordinate and schedule warranty service appointments with trade partners and internal field staff
- Accurately document service requests, follow-up communications, and resolutions in the company's CRM or warranty system
- Ensure timely follow-through and completion of all service items in accordance with Dalamar Homes' standards and warranties
- Provide clear and professional communication with homeowners regarding timelines, next steps, and expectations
- Collaborate with construction, sales, and design teams to ensure a smooth homeowner experience before and after closing
- Assist in preparing homeowner welcome materials, manuals, and post-closing follow-ups
- Monitor satisfaction metrics and proactively address concerns to uphold Dalamar's commitment to quality and service excellence
- Support special projects, homeowner surveys, or post-construction evaluations as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Buildertrend, Punchlist Manager, etc.)
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emotional situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with residential construction processes and terminology
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with home warranty programs and service scheduling
