Job Summary: The Client Associate - Client Service/Operations supports financial advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies to clients. This role involves coordinating and implementing client service activities, preparing client presentations, and supporting client relationship management. It requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a dedication to excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities: Client Support and Relationship Management: - Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Assist in processing money movement and operational tasks (i.e. wires, journals, ACH, ACAT).
- Serve as a contact for client inquiries, providing timely responses and resolving issues.
- Prepare for client meetings/prospect meeting by gathering relevant documents and financial data.
- Attend client review meetings and record detailed notes/follow up tasks in CRM.
- Post-Meeting follow up/tasks are delegated to the appropriate Associate via CRM.
- All client interactions are recorded in CRM (i.e. phone calls, ad hoc requests, fund movement).
- Schedule client meetings/reviews and ensure input into advisor(s) and associate calendar.
Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management: - Monitor client portfolios and prepare periodic performance reports.
- Coordinate with investment team to ensure proposed investment changes are executed.
- Work with financial advisors to implement investment strategies aligned with clients' goals and risk profiles.
Client Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare and update client reviews, account summaries, and investment proposals.
- Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems to ensure all client information is current.
- Coordinate paperwork for account opening, transfers, and other client requests.
Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain awareness of changing regulations affecting wealth management practices.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- 1 - 5+ years of experience in operations, with a focus on wealth management or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, including mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and ETFs.
- Proficiency in financial software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
