Job DescriptionShift: This is a part-time and seasonal position with variable daily work hours. Seasonal Employment is available from May 1 through September 30.
Distinguishing Features of the Class: This position is available in various City Departments.
This position requires attention to detail. Clerical duties will be assigned. Duties must be performed efficiently.
Examples of Work: May include, but not limited to; filing, answering phone, drafting letters or other city documents, and assisting other city employees or the general public.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to carry out oral and written instructions with minimum detail. Must possess adequate communication skills and deal tactfully with citizens of the public.
Acceptable Experience and Training: Minimum age is generally 16 years old. A work permit is required for students ages 17 and under.
