Job Description Gas Operations is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a key administrative position.
Responsibilities Core Responsibilities - The Candidate will utilize mainframe and other Company record keeping and tracking systems including; Gas Central, Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Customer Project Management System (CPMS), Adept, Oracle, Gas Work Tracker, Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS), Enterprise Geographic Information System (eGIS).
- Duties will include, but not limited to: logging and tracking information across multiple systems, requisitioning and receipting for services and materials, preparing letters and memos, compiling status reports, maintaining current files of maps and plates, managing office inventory, scheduling appointments with customers, and handling various customer inquiries.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
- The individual will perform frequent interaction with contractors, internal and external customers, and city agencies.
- Regular customer contact will be required.
Qualifications Required Education/Experience - High School Diploma/GED and previous clerical experience
Relevant Work Experience - Excellent clerical and organizational skills and competency in Microsoft Office Suite Required
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills Required
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing of priorities Required
Skills and Abilities - Excellent organizational skills
- Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated customer service skills
Licenses and Certifications - Driver's License Required
Physical Demands - Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
- Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday
Additional Physical Demands - Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
