DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position oversees the conservation district director nominations process, tracking over 500 director positions and related nominating organizations for 65 conservation districts within Pennsylvania. This position also oversee procurement activities for the Commission; administers the State vehicle program; and provides administrative support to the Commission's Executive Secretary and to the Commission's Program Managers for the Financial Policy Program, Nutrient and Odor Management Program, Resource Enhancement and Assistance Program, and Dirt, Gravel, and Low Volume Road Program, and ACAP Program to help ensure the Commission operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: - Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: - Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements: - You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required): - Previous experience with Microsoft.
- Previous experience with budget management and contracting.
- Previous experience providing administrative support to high level managers.
Legal Requirements: - This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
